The groom was so into photography that the bride decided to give these cupcakes as her hantaran to him. The designs for each item were given to us by the customer. We hand-made the cupcake toppings out of fondant based on the designs given.

If you have a friend who loves ducks and has a whole collection of duck decorations, then this would be a great birthday cake to get for him or her :) Our customer has ordered this cake for such a friend. We later learned that the birthday girl loved the deco so much that she didn't want to cut the cake!!
Anyway, someone else had also commented that this cake could also be for a duck themed baby shower party. That would be great too ya :D
Just a note, the cake is our classic butter cake with buttercream icing. The ducks are hand made out of fondant. So are the cut out flowers :) We only use pure high grade butter for our cakes, so they're always really rich and yummy!

It was almost one year ago when we first introduced our The Purr... fect Sandwich. A hugh chunk of ice cream with oozing chocolate sauce, sandwiched between our warm soft cookies :)

Besides the above sandwich, we have other double comfort goodies that we have been serving at The Cookie Cat for a while i.e. The Blondie Sundae Fun and The Brownie Sundae Fun. You can have a choice of warm blondie or brownie as the base, topped with ice cream, chocolate or strawberry syrup (chocolate syrup has always been the popular choice), and crushed cookies :) These are absolutely yummy and a treat that you should not miss!

There's always a first time
When I first baked a 3-D cake using this car shaped pan, the whole cake crumbled. I had never thought of the pan again (hmmm, that was almost two years ago) until someone made a last minute order for a car designed cake recently. She didn't ask for a 3-D cake but I thought I'd take the chance with the pan again. Luckily the cake came out good this time!
As this is my first attempt at doing a car, the design is pretty basic. Nevertheless, I'm proud of myself and am definitely going to attempt improvements on the design going forward :) - Z

Saying I love you
Being the romantic fool I am, I feel that if you are able to say "I love you" to the person you love, you should feel so blessed. There should not be a special day to express your love because everyday is so special when you're in love :) Nevertheless, we are only humans..sometimes we forget, sometimes we overlook, and sometimes we take our love ones for granted. However, many remember their loved ones today and have chosen to say "I love you" with our cupcakes, cookies and brownies :)

For whatever the celebrations that you have in mind, we can decorate our cookies too! These cookies were for someone who had achieved qualifications to the next level :) Request were for four different types of cookies - rich butter, chocolate chip, double rich chocolate, and mocha chunks.

It's been such a long time since we last update the blog. We wanted to upload this photo yesterday but we were busy with our own reunion with the family. Anyway, it's not too late to wish all our Chinese friends and customers a very Happy Chinese New Year!! May the year of the Rabbit be full of joy and happiness for all of you and us :)
